Addiction can be fun?
To launch Caritas’ latest fundraising program to wealthy, Italian-Canadians, an interactive parody “Euro-Gameshow” site called “Mille per Mille” (meaning 1000 by 1000) was developed using Flash & HTML for mobile. The objective is to raise enough funds to help the Caritas addiction centre build a new facility. Caritas has helped many with major addiction issues and other major life problems. This site focuses on exaggerating alcohol, drug and gambling addiction. Sadly, some of the “game results” are not exaggerations at all. These statements are all too true for some of the people who have turned to Caritas for help.
